Providing administrative and logistical support by overseeing the community use of FCPS facilities, supporting departmental technology requirements, and providing departmental financial, budgeting, and contract management coordination.
FCPS is evaluating learning efforts this year. The yearlong study will gather information from families, staff and students to make recommendations to the Superintendent about the strengths and areas of improvement related to teaching and learning during this unusual year.

The Office of the Chief of Schools provides direct supervision to the six region offices, as well as the Office of Nontraditional School Programs, the Department of School Improvement and Supports, the Office of Student Activities and Athletics, and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. The office reports to the Superintendent.
