Title IX

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in educational institutions that receive federal dollars.

What We Do

Coordination

We are responsible for FCPS' countywide response to reports of Sexual Harassment affecting students so every reported incident is fully addressed and resolved.

Investigations

We are responsible for leading investigations for the most serious or complex reports of Sexual Harassment by students.

Compliance and Training

We are responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring effective training and compliance programs that comply with Title IX and address the management of related data.
