Naviance Student Overview
Naviance Student is a comprehensive, web-based resource that supports students in creating their Academic and Career Plan. Students and families use this platform to develop academic goals, explore career pathways, and create post-secondary plans. Students also find and track service learning opportunities through the use of x2VOL which is accessed through Naviance Student.
Naviance Student is a part of FCPS 24-7 Learning : Parent View. In order to log into Parent View, it is necessary to have an active SIS Parent Account. Once the SIS Parent Account is created, the same log in credentials will work for FCPS 24-7 Learning : Parent View. Once inside FCPS 24-7 Learning : Parent View, locate the Naviance Student module and click on the link for your child.
Students write goals and action plans that align with their strengths, interests and opportunities; Teachers connect content to career exploration; Counselors track and analyze data about college and career plans allowing the student to receive up-to-date information that is specific to each student’s school. Students find service opportunities, reflect on experiences and align service learning with career goals. Parents are able to view their students’ plans.
Accessing Naviance Student
Middle and high school students may access Naviance Student using their network username and password.
School - Parent Communication
Naviance Student is a tool which allows the school to share information with parents and students about up-coming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other college and career resources. Parents can also use this site to send email to the school counseling staff.
It is important that parents keep their email address current in their FCPS 24-7 Learning account. This is the email address that will be used to communicate through Naviance Student.
