Classes and Daily Schedule

Students have four classes and a 30 minute break for lunch. The classes are 70 minutes long. There is one class in dance, music, theatre, and visual art every day.

In the dance classes, students learn about different styles of dance. Teachers show them how to choreograph their own dance moves to their favorite songs.

Students sing, perform, and even compose in music classes. They learn to play on instruments like the guitar or ukulele and sing along to popular songs.

Teachers use storytelling, make-believe, and improvisation games in the theatre classes. Students learn to build characters, make props, and perform for the stage.

Students make many works of art in the visual art classes. Book or paper sculpture, printmaking, weaving, and painting are examples of the art classes.

Lunch

FCPS Food Services provides lunch for $3.50 or students may bring a lunch from home. FCPS students can use their school accounts or pay with cash. Non-FCPS students can pay with cash.
