A Work-Life Benefit for Employees and Their Household Members
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Guidance Resources, is a work-life benefit for employees and their household members.
Personal issues, planning for life or simply managing daily life can affect your work, health, and family. Guidance Resources provides support, resources, and information for personal and work/life issues. Services with Guidance Resources are confidential and provided at no charge to you or your household members. More than just counseling, EAP services include assessment, work/life resource and referral services, tobacco cessation coaching, legal and financial consultations, free online will preparation and short-term counseling.
EAP services are free and can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Enrollment is automatic and no paperwork needs to be filled out. - EAP provides services in confidential counseling in areas such as stress, anxiety, and depression, relationship/marital conflicts, problems with children, job pressures, grief and loss, and substance abuse.
- EAP provides financial information and resources in areas such as getting out of debt, credit card or loan problems, tax questions, estate planning, and saving for college.
- EAP provides legal support and resources in areas such as divorce and family law, debt bankruptcy, landlord/tenant issues, real estate transactions, civil and criminal actions, and contracts.
- EAP provides work-life solutions in areas such as child and elder care, moving and relocation, making major purchases, college planning, pet care, and home repair.
