Employee Recognition Programs
Employee recognition is a major component of two of the four goals of Ignite, FCPS' strategic plan. Employee recognition aligns with the goals of Creating a Caring Culture and ensuring a Premier Workforce.
The Licensure Office helps answer questions regarding instructional licensure for prospective employees while helping current employees know what is needed to get their teaching license renewed or to change an endorsement.
Substitute Teaching Opportunities
Sub and Save the Day! Substitute teaching is a great opportunity for stay-at-home parents, retirees, college students, and anyone who wants a flexible work schedule. Like many school districts across the region and country, FCPS is looking for kind and caring substitute teachers to ensure our students continue to thrive when teachers need to be out of the building.
Field Experiences for Teachers in Training
Student teaching, internships and observation hours are considered to be the single most important experience in a teacher preparation program. That's why each year, Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) offers quality teaching experiences to more than 500 teachers in training.
Recruitment Services is dedicated to supporting the success of our schools and offices by recruiting the best candidates to fill instructional and support positions.
