Dranesville Elementary Capital Project

Information about the Renovation and Addition

The Dranesville Elementary project was identified according to the Renovation Queue approved in 2009. Dranesville ES is ranked 53 of 63 schools in the queue. Planning and design was funded by the 2021 bond, with construction expected to be funded with the 2023 bond.  The addition and renovation project will provide modern amenities, cafeteria and main corridor expansion, plus new classrooms.  It will also include a new library, a renovated and enlarged gymnasium, a security vestibule and the relocation of the main office.
