The College Board also charges a $40 late order fee for students who order the exam after the ordering deadline.

The school providing the exam needs to know if a student needs accommodations. Submit these to the school giving the AP exam no later than December 15, 2021.

Requesting Accommodations Through the Local High School

The best way to request accommodations for your student is contact the Director of Student Services (DSS) at your local high school to submit an accommodations request.

The deadline for accommodations input and consent forms to be returned to the school is August 10, 2021. Additional information about the process and required forms can be found on the Accommodations Process for College Board Testing webpage.

Requesting Accommodations Directly Through the College Board

Families of home instructed students may submit requests for testing accommodations directly to the College Board using the Student Eligibility Form (PDF) and then faxing or mailing it with the supporting documentation to Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD).

Requests submitted directly to the College Board must be received by August 24, 2021, to be considered for the October 13, 2021, PSAT/NMSQT or SAT School Day administration. Full details on how to submit a request are available on the College Board Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) web page.

English learners (ELs), as defined by state and federal policy, are eligible for testing supports for the SAT School Day test.

To request EL supports for SAT School Day, contact the Director of Student Services (DSS) at your student's local high school to submit an accommodations request. EL supports are temporary and can only be used on the test date for which they have been requested.

If requesting EL supports for SAT School Day, the required input and consent forms are due to the school by August 10, 2021. The EL Supports Process for College Board Testing webpage provides additional information about the process to request EL testing supports.
