Amended Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2020-24

At the September 26, 2019 regular School Board meeting, the Board voted to amend the FY 2020-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to include Langley and McLean High schools on the list of Priority Recommended Boundary Adjustments. The meeting information, motion, and voting results are available at Fairfax County School Board.

Each year, Fairfax County Public Schools develops a five-year planning document known as the CIP to address future facility needs. The CIP assesses requirements for new construction, capacity enhancements, renovations, and site acquisition. Actual completion dates for CIP projects depend on cash flow and debt service limitations established by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
