Digital Citizenship Student Curriculum

In FCPS we educate students to become digital citizens who are able to think critically about the opportunities and challenges of the digital world and use technology responsibly to learn, create, and participate.

FCPS has adopted the Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship Curriculum. Common Sense partners with Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education to develop the curriculum. They use research from thousands of educators to inform the work. Each digital citizenship lesson takes on real challenges that students face today. They give students the skills they need to succeed as digital learners and citizens. Read about the research behind the curriculum.
