Community Liaisons welcome families to FCPS and provide information and resources about Fairfax County.

Bilingual community liaisons support student registrars by providing families with information about school and community services offered in Fairfax County. Community liaisons also help parents fill out forms and complete applications for:

  • free and reduced-price meals
  • recreation programs
  • health insurance
  • adult education classes
  • job training
  • other programs

Families new to FCPS can attend Getting to Know Fairfax County Public Schools: An Orientation Session for Parents, which ensures a smooth transition to the FCPS community.
