Upcoming Virtual Appointment Opportunities and Other Resources Available

Book a Personal Virtual Cigna Appointment

FCPS and Cigna have partnered to expand virtual appointments for employees who need to discuss complex questions or claims issues. Beginning the week of April 22, employees and covered dependents will have more opportunities to make an appointment with the FCPS dedicated representative to discuss claims or coverage concerns.

Appointments are available from 12-4 p.m. on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please use the Cigna Pick-A-Time Online Scheduler to schedule. You can schedule an appointment up to 5 p.m. the day before (maximum 30 minutes per appointment). This new schedule gives you more chances to get personalized help through the end of the school year and throughout the summer break.

For Immediate Cigna Assistance 24/7

For immediate help, we encourage members to call Cigna’s FCPS-dedicated Service Team at 877-501-7992. Wherever you’re located and whatever time of day, the Cigna Team is available 24/7 to take your call and answer any questions about your health benefits.

Remember to Set Up your MyCigna Account
While it is not required, your MyCigna account is the fastest, easiest way to view your plan benefits, including your claims data and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements. You can also access your virtual ID card. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to set up your online account by going to https://my.cigna.com or by downloading the MyCigna app (available for iOS and Android).

Cigna Plan Updates
We encourage you to keep checking the Cigna Communications webpage where we will post the most up-to-date information that may be helpful to you and your families. You may also refer to the “Hot Topics” section of the Cigna Frequently Asked Questions for answers to common questions we are receiving during this time.
