New Integrated Disability Management Program (IDM) Vendors!

Change to FCPS' IDM Administration, Effective January 1, 2021

FCPS’ disability benefits program is now managed by two new vendors:

  • Sedgwick will administer FCPS’ Short Term Disability (STD) and Workers’ Compensation (WC) benefits,
  • MetLife will administer Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits.

Employees currently on approved STD or WC claims will not have to take any action for the claim to transition to Sedgwick. Any claim active on December 31, 2020, will transition to Sedgwick who will manage the claim until the employee’s return to work or maximum benefit is reached. Employees receiving STD and WC benefits will receive separate communications with more details about the transition.

Note: Updates have been made to the workers' compensation provider panel, so please be sure to check the Workers' Compensation Provider Panel website for the most up-to-date listing of approved providers.

Employees reporting new STD and WC claims beginning January 1, 2021, will contact Sedgwick at 1-855-937-1387. Employees may also file your claim online at www.mySedgwick.com/FCPS (you must create an account on this site prior to filing your claim).
