Congratulations to Rebecca Otaizo of Weyanoke Elementary School! She was announced last week as the 3rd to 5th grade category winner of Virginia's 2023 Computer Science Educators of the Year. She was among six educators from across the state recognized among different categories. 

Otaizo is an exceptional teacher who is passionate about STEAM education and creating a positive learning environment for her students. Her efforts are appreciated by both her students and the wider school community, and her teaching style makes difficult concepts easier to understand and more enjoyable to learn.
