"I became a teacher because I like to help others discover their own fascination with science," says Kirsten Salonga, biology teacher at Justice High School. "I love my students and all that they have taught me. Many of my students have jobs outside of school and stories I can only begin to understand. Every day they teach me what it means to be resilient and dedicated, and they are the reason I continue to teach."
