I trust this note finds each of you experiencing an abundantly joyful fall holiday weekend.  Given all the opportunities we collectively share, I remain resolutely thankful for each of you and your commitment to this important mission driven work; it matters.  As we mark the monthly transition upcoming, from November to December, I know our learning spaces abound with energy and inspiration.  I continue to treasure my time in our schools and look forward to a learning focused week ahead.

As we have had time these past several days for reflection and renewal, I want to mark the many opportunities we have to transform our future experience.  As we consider the transformational power of a bold new strategic plan, I want to thank each of you contributing to this important work; it matters.  I know that we each have a great deal to address on a daily basis and I want you to know how thankful I am that we are able to attend to the important work of setting our north star and charting our course for the coming years here in our division and community.  As together we plan and work forward, I will be providing you regular strategic planning updates. Stay tuned…

As this weekend closes, I’m reminded of a quote from Melody Beattie; "Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."   I look forward to our vision building work; together all things are possible.

Warmest regards,

Michelle Reid, Ed.D.
