Katie Eustis was in her 8th year of teaching when she met Grace Parsons. It was Grace’s first year teaching at Woodley Hills ES and Katie was assigned as her mentor. Through their time together, Grace was embraced by Katie for bringing her new ideas and enthusiasm to the classroom and, in return, Grace was a light in Katie's 8th year of teaching she didn’t know she needed. From their love of teaching grew a friendship that they both say is forever. Katie even officiated Grace's wedding.
