“Our Heroes” is an on-going series of portraits of FCPS staff told by colleagues, parents, students, and community members.

We celebrate Joslyn Siddiqi, a sixth-grade teacher at Forest Edge Elementary School. Students and colleagues describe Ms. Siddiqi as an outstanding teacher with a kind heart and as a blessing to the school. 

"She is helpful, and strong, and brave," says one student. 

"She is just a constant positive force," says a colleague.

"If you're coming into sixth grade next year and you get Ms. Siddiqi, you're very, very lucky," says another student.
