Behavior Intervention Services and the Parent Resource Center have worked together to offer a behavior support webinar series for families. This series provides families with strategies and positive supports to help encourage social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

About Behavior Intervention Services

Our Behavior Intervention Teachers provide behavioral support to teachers and school teams for students (in pre-k through grade 12) receiving general and special education services.

Our services include:

  • Providing collaborative behavioral support to teachers and school teams to help build capacity to meet the needs of a broad range of students.
  • Professional development for school staff on research-based behavior strategies.
  • Workshops for parents to help bridge the home and school environments.
  • Assisting school teams in using data to inform effective behavioral programming for students.
  • Providing school teams with student crisis intervention support.

Behavior Intervention Services consists of:

  • a Program Manager,
  • 2 Specialists, and
  • 25 Behavior Intervention Teachers (this includes a Central Office Behavior Intervention Teacher who is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that focuses on supports for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder)
