Hello FCPS Families,

We are very excited to welcome your students back to our buildings this Monday, August 21! Our staff has been working tirelessly to ensure our buses and buildings are clean, safe, and welcoming spaces where students will be able to reach their greatest potential.

In case you missed it, FCPS’ 2023-24 Back to School 10-Day Countdown provides families with back to school tips for a strong start to the school year. Although only a few days are left until school starts, these resources will come in handy well beyond the first day of school.

We also would like to remind you that we are kicking off the new school year with FCPS’ new 2023-30 strategic plan. This student-centered plan focuses on ensuring excellence, equity, and opportunity for each and every student, and serves as our North Star moving forward. Stay tuned for updates on the plan implementation and progress we are making toward our five goals.
