Book Fair & Family Fun Night!
Mason Crest's Book Fair is coming up May 6 - 10! You will find children's books at all levels and for all interests, books for adults: parenting, best-sellers, non-fiction, and cookbooks, plus educational games for kids.
In addition to student browsing/buying days, parents may buy books during the following times:
Tuesday, May 7: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, May 8: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday, May 9: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm & 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Friday, May 10: 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Family Fun Night May 9 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Mason Crest PTO and teachers are teaming together to hose a Family Fun Night! Fun activities include:
- Games & Starbucks coffee and Menchie's frozen yogurt in the cafeteria
- Zumba in the gym (students) and information session in the library about helping your child prepare for end of the year assessments (parents)
- Buy books at the Book Fair!
SOL Testing Dates
The Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments are quickly approaching. Below are the scheduled dates of these tests. Please be sure not to schedule any appointments for students during these times. Thank you!
3rd Grade:

Yearbooks for Sale!!!
Capture the 2012-2013 year at Mason Crest by ordering a yearbook! Flyers will be going home in Thursday folders.
- Yearbooks cost $17.00.
- Orders MUST be placed by May 31, 2013!
Orders can be placed by:
- Sending in a check to the school made out to Mason Crest ES
- Visiting www.splendidportraits.com and ordering online. Enter our online image locator # Y300038407. Please note: A $1.97 handling fee will be applied.
Looking for all 5 year olds!
If you have a child who will be five by September 30th and attending Mason Crest next year, please bring them to our Kindergarten orientation on Monday, May 6th, 2013 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. You and your child will learn about all the wonderful things that are happening at our school! We look forward to seeing you and our future Mason Crest Tigers!! Questions? Student Registration
Mason Crest Student Registration hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Parent Liason
Our Parent Liason, Ana Maxey is here at Mason Crest in the Parent Room on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 - 1:30. Parents, please come and visit!
