To all current 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Parents and Students –
Interested in playing a musical instrument next year? Not only is learning how to play an instrument fun, but many studies have shown that students who participate in music activities have increased test scores in reading, writing, and math.
Please complete your selected form no later than Wednesday, June 22nd.
Here are some fun ways to use your Spanish over the summer! Post this sheet on your refrigerator door (or another visible place) this summer to keep Spanish fresh in your mind!
Bicycle Safety Reminder!
If your child rides their bike to school, please remind them that they need to walk their bike up the school path. Helmets are a must too!

Summer reading is one of the best ways to stay sharp for school!
Book Your Summer is a program that builds a community of readers in FCPS. Book Your Summer will begins on June 27 and continues through September 7, 2016.
Similar to a Bingo game, rising 1st through 12th grade students are encouraged to spend the summer reading using the READ! activity card as a guide.
Students successfully participate if they achieve a “READ!” of their choice across the card in any direction.

Camp Invention has taken summer fun and transformed it from ordinary to extraordinary! Ms. Phalon will lead a week of hands-on activities created especially for Willow Springs ES. Boys and girls spend time building original prototypes using real tools and components found in everyday devices, playing high-energy games and so much more!
