The Book Fair is Coming! The Book Fair is Coming!
Mark your calendar for Oct. 20-24 when you can shop at the Book Fair in the gym. Choose from among a selection of great titles. The hours during that week will be:
Monday 9-2
Tuesday 9-4
Wednesday 9-4 and 6:30-8 p.m.
Thursday 9-4
Friday 9-11
Credit cards are accepted. If you send a blank check with your child, please note a limit in the memo line.
Volunteers are needed to staff the book fair for various shifts, including set up on Friday, Oct. 17 and packing up on Friday, Oct. 24. To help, please contact Melissa Laughlin at mlaughlin@gmail.com.

Parent View Validations- even if you think yours may have expired

Every  parent is able to log onto 24/7 Learning (Blackboard) with his or her own log on.  This enables each parent to see all of their children’s teachers’ courses at one time with one log on.  Also available with this log on is weCare@School.  This enables parents to update emergency information on line.
Creating the Parent View Account is a two part process.  The first part is to go on line and create your account.  You will need your children’s student ID (not the cafeteria ID) to add them to your profile.  You can get the student ID number from any past report card and it is on the Emergency Care Card.
The second step is to come to Waynewood and have your account “Validated” at the appointed times.  You will need to bring a photo ID of yourself.  This is a safety measure to make sure it is a parent and not someone else who creates an account.
