Silverbrook School Counselors are Peggy Cantey, 703-690-5112 and Katrina MacWhorter, 703-690-5113.

Families who reside in the following zip codes - 22079, 22199, 22122 or 22060 may register directly with Lorton Community Action Center .  Registrations with LCAC are held on October 14, 21, 28 and November 4. Please contact Maryam Ulomi at 703-339-5161 ext 11 for information about what documentation is needed and the LCAC holiday assistance program.

In accordance with Regulation 1367.1, Silverbrook Elementary will distribute your flyers in student take home folders on Wednesday, September 9 or 30 (and in the spring 6/2/09) only. Please note that our office staff is not responsible for Xeroxing copies.  If you present our office with enough flyers to distribute – Dr. Mackin will review for approval to send them home on September 9 or 30, 2009.  We will also have one date in the spring semester…..June 2, 2010.

Any future distribution of non-school materials must be approved by the principal and then will be placed in the display outside of the office for visitors to see and pick up.  We will not be placing non-school materials in student folders other than the dates listed above.

The only materials that will be distributed on all other dates are FCPS/Silverbrook information and school PTA flyers.  If you have any questions please see Dr. Mackin.  Thank you.

Special note: Calendars, newsletters, school flyers, and supply lists are PDF files and require Adobe Reader to view them.
