Below are some guidelines for submitting announcements to GMR.

  • Please send announcements to rjgood@fcps.edu
  • Please write the announcement as you would like it read on GMR.
  • Please indicate requested air dates and frequency of the announcement.
  • For video announcements, please bring them to the GMR editing room on a thumb drive, where we will extract the file.  File types: .avi, .mov, .mp4 are all good.

Financial Obligations

  • All Financial Obligations And Senior Dues Must Be Paid In Full Before Caps/Gowns Are Distributed Or Prom Tickets Are Purchased

  • Seniors Must Pay Financial Obligations And Senior Dues By June 12.

  • Bring Exact Change – Cash Only To The Finance Office. No Checks Accepted

  • Library Fines Are Paid Separately To The Media Center.

  • Senior Class Dues - EOY

June 15

Graduation Rehearsal

  • Robinson Field House

  • Monday, June 15 from 8:45a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
    (Lunch provided – 11:30-12:00 p.m.)

  • Rehearsal is mandatory for all seniors

  • Caps and Gowns distributed after rehearsal. In order to receive your cap and gown you must be in attendance at the rehearsal and all financial obligations must be paid.

  • The Senior Picnic will be held immediately following the rehearsal.

  • Excellent behavior is the expectation at rehearsal. failure to follow school rules may result in losing the privilege of walking in the graduation ceremony

Senior Awards Ceremony

  • Russell Theatre - Students and families will attend per invitation.

  • Monday, June 15, at 4:00 p.m.

  • College representatives, Robinson faculty, and other guests will recognize special achievements of our seniors.

  • Invitations for students receiving awards will be mailed out in May. 

  • Students receiving GPA based awards will receive an email invitation once final grades are calculated, which may be as late as June 12, 2015

Graduation

  • Patriot Center, campus of George Mason University @9:30 a.m.

  • General admission seating, tickets will not be issued, no guest limit

  • seniors report at 8:30 a.m.
