• Band Concert
    The London Towne Band performed their winter “Informance” on Tuesday, January 12th. Under the direction of Mr. Lovecchio, the 5th and 6th grade members of the band performed some holiday favorites, such as “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Up on the Housetop”. The audience was also treated to a sneak peek of some of songs they’ve begun working on for the Spring Concert in June.
  • Strings Concert
    The London Towne Orchestra students presented their Evening of Sharing to a packed gym on Thursday, January 14th. 150 performers demonstrated the skills they have learned on their instruments so far this year. The pieces they performed included some jazz numbers, familiar folk songs and Principal Ryberg's favorite, Over the Rainbow. The fun evening ended with the strings students teaching an adult from the audience how to play the D Major scale.

    Family Science Night
    The Children’s Science Center is excited to bring Family Science Night, a fun night of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities, to London Towne ES on Thursday, March 10, from 6 pm to 8 pm in the gym. The Children’s Science Center’s mission is to instill a love of learning science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in all children by providing unique opportunities to explore, create and be inspired. We warmly invite your family to experience science in action at London Towne ES!
  • LTES 4th Grade Students' Art Showcased at Centreville Library
    Fourth graders at London Towne Elementary School learned about foods from colonial history in their art classes. Students chose a meat, fruit and vegetable that people in the colonial times ate. In creation of their still life art, students learned some new art terms and techniques such as still life, overlapping and blending. Student artwork was displayed in January. .
  • Artist of the Month
    London Towne ES is proud to recognize Kloey as the Artist of the Month for January. Kloey's work will be displayed at the local Starbucks for this month as well as be featured on the WLTS news broadcast at London Towne. Congrats, Kloey!
