The 2016 London Towne STEAM Conference was a big success! Over 180 students and 80 parents signed up to attend 15 hands-on workshops ranging from learning about how helicopters work and lifting fingerprints to giving a dog a check-up.
Students enjoyed erupting volcanoes, creating Oobleck and exploring chromatography using chemistry. There were also workshops on budgeting, oceans, first aid, interior design, home remodeling, architecture, water systems, and printmaking.
Parents attended workshops on technology and creativity and were able to join their child for a workshop as well. We believe that these experiences will inspire our London Towne Lions to pursue further STEAM learning in the future!.
