Thanksgiving Luncheon & Veteran’s Day Flag Ceremony
The Thanksgiving Lunch will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend! You may join your child as they come into the cafeteria for lunch. We will have lunch ticket sales outside of the cafeteria to avoid a backup in the cafeteria food lines. Please allow extra time to purchase your ticket before your child’s scheduled lunch time. Details, including specific lunch times and prices will follow in next week’s KIT message. We welcome volunteers to help sell tickets, direct traffic in the cafeteria, or serve food in the lunch line. Please go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/thanksgivingveter to volunteer. Thank you!
The annual Veteran’s Day Flag Ceremony will be held outside in front of the building (weather permitting) at roughly 9:30am on November 11th.
The community is welcome to attend as we pay tribute to our Veterans. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be participating in the Flag Ceremony. If it rains, we will hold the ceremony inside the school.
