Congratulations to FCHS students Arden Hajaligholi, Max Johnson, Wesley Rogers, and Jenna Yow for being recognized for their Animations and Digital Art in the 2015 Tech Arts Awards.
The winners of the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Association of Teachers of Japanese (MAATJ) Haiku Contest received their trophies and certificates. Vi Phan won the FIRST place in Japanese 1, Andrew Chin won the SECOND place in the Japanese 1 and Thy Tran won the FIRST place in the Japanese 2 contest. Also, Jaylen Torres received an Honorary Mention Certificate in Japanese 2.
Congratulations to FCHS students Nhung Bach, Hailu Kinfemicheal, and Tri Nguyen for participating in the ESOL Global Awareness Technology Fair. Nhung received firt place in her category for her project “Bullying” and Hailu received an honorable mention for his project “How the Ethiopian Government has Changed Over Time.”
