News Highlights

We have a POSSE winner!
  This is a highly competitive nomination scholarship and our very own, Juan Carlos Siguenza Navidad was selected for a full four-year scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin!  This scholarship is valued at over $165,000!  Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment! 

Virginia Junior Classical League Convention
Six students from Falls Church High School attended the VJCL convention in a combined delegation with Herndon High School.   The delegation won second place in the spirit competition, competing against delegations twice the size of our combined group.

It is of note that the following students placed on the top ten list in this statewide competition!

9th grader Graham Skrtic—3rd place in the Mythology academic test
9th grader Erin Poplin—9th place in the Roman Life academic test and 6th place in Watercolor
9th grader Kimberly Roxborough—4th place in the Roman Life academic test Art

Congratulations to senior Max Johnson
who was just awarded a 2015 National YoungArts Foundation Merit  Award in Cinematic Arts for his animations. This prestigious award includes a $500 travel stipend to attend a YoungArts Regional Program of master classes with some of the most recognized artists in the world.
