ATTACK THE SOL

FCHS's  10th Annual Jaguar 5KRun/Walk and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run! The 10th Annual FCHS Jaguar 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1 Mile Run Run will take place on Saturday, April 25th, 2015.  Registration and general information for this fun, school-community, family event can be found at www.jaguar5k.com. Save money and guarantee a commemorative race t-shirt by  registering early (by March 29th)!  All proceeds benefit the FCHS Athletic Department. Also, race day volunteers are needed! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Jeanne Kelly, Director of Student Activities, at jeanne.kelly@fcps.edu.

News Highlights

FCHS 2015 Regional Science Fair Winners

Falls Church High School Wrestling Coach Named Coach of the Year. Coach Payne received the award Tuesday night.

Swim and DiveTeam Sends a Large Group From Falls Church High. All five captains made it to states this year.

The FCHS Wind Ensemble earned an overall Superior Rating at the VBODA District 10 Concert Band Assessment on March 7th, 2015. FCHS received superior rating from all of the judges. This rating, together with a Superior from Marching Band Assessment, makes our band a Virginia Honor Band. This is the third honor band in school history. Congratulations Jaguars!!

STEM Activities @FallsChurchHS
Falls Church High has recently experienced an explosion of student technology involvement via teams focusing on Cyber Patriot competitions, 3D gaming, and robotics. In particular, the girls at the school have been making headlines in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) clubs and winning awards for their achievements.

  This is a highly competitive nomination scholarship and our very own, Juan Carlos Siguenza Navidad was selected for a full four-year scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin!  This scholarship is valued at over $165,000!  Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment!
