Applications Accepted for 2014-2015

Although the application deadline for Academy classes has passed, students are still encouraged to apply. Please note that although we continue to receive applications priority will be given to:

  • on-time applications
  • where space is available
  • and most importantly where students meet the requirements for acceptance in the course

Hands-On-Learning in April

  • Tami Levin of Association of American Medical Colleges will speak to students about the process of entering medical school
  • Gisele Thelemaque, National Children's Oral Health Foundation will speak on Meth mouth, tongue piercing and oral hygiene
  • Fire and EMS students will visit the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Academy
  • VA State Police Recruitment Unit to speak to Criminal Justice
  • Detective Derek Hardy, Fairfax County Police Department, Crime Scene Section to speak to Criminal Justice
  • Air Care presentation and fly-in for Fire and EMS
  • Field Trips for this month are:
    • Blue Ridge Arsenal Weapons Training
