Elizabeth Visioli became the executive director (interim) of the Office of Communications in October 2023. Prior to assuming this role, she had been the director of communications since 2021. She joined Fairfax County Public Schools in 2015 as a senior communications specialist. 

Visioli's professional background includes a significant tenure with Inova Health System, where she served as the senior manager of  Media Services (2007-15) and director of Internal Communications  (2006-07). She joined Inova in 2003 as a public relations specialist/manager. 

Visioli began her career in television, working for several stations including WJLA-TV in Arlington, Virginia. 

Visioli received a bachelor of arts degree from Penn State University.
