South Lakes HS Bone Marrow Drive:
The daughter of two former South Lakes teachers, and also a South Lakes alum is battling leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.
We are hosting a bone marrow drive on Friday, December 12 (the day of the varsity basketball doubleheaders vs. Herndon) to try to help find a match.  We would prefer people sign up for an appointment with Lindsay Trout (Lindsay.Trout@fcps.edu or 703-715-4524) but will also gladly take walk-ins on the day of the event.
We are also taking donations as the cost per person in order to get them into the bone marrow bank is $25.  We do not want those coming to our drive to have to pay so we are taking donations on their behalf.  Checks can be made out to SLHS and sent to the school c/o Lindsay Trout.  What a wonderful way to give during the season when giving often gets lost to shopping and "getting."

The Web Page Development Class of 2005-2006 helped to design and create many of the styles and pages appearing in this updated version of the SLHS web site.
