Important Information
Summer Reading
This summer, Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
will continue a summer reading requirement in order to encourage
reading. Each student completing grades five through eleven
is required to read at least one book during the summer months.
Follow-up activities have been developed by the teachers at
our school, and these will be implemented in the fall.
Attached is a list of suggested books for summer
reading; however, students may read any book that is comparable
to books on this list and approved by their parents.
