Walk to School Day
We are excited to announce that we are joining with other schools in Fairfax County to participate in International Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. The day is celebrated as a way to promote physical activity while reducing traffic congestion and pollution near schools. We encourage all students to walk or bike to school, or walk to their bus stops on October 7.
AAP Parent Information Night
On Wednesday, October 7 from 6:00-7:00 p.m., we will be holding a Parent Information Meeting in the library. This meeting is for parents who are new to FCPS and parents who are interested in learning more about the four levels of advanced academic services offered and the AAP screening process. We will also discuss the identification process for all levels of service and the testing, referral, and screening timeline for the 2015-16 school year. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Balcanoff at SEBalcanoff@fcps.edu.
SIS ParentVue Accounts
FCPS parents have access to 24-7 Learning (Blackboard) and SIS. These TWO accounts will have the SAME username and password. If you have more than one child in FCPS, you do NOT need multiple accounts for each child. For support for these accounts, please review the resources or contact our Student Information Assistant, Patty Li, at 703-633-6700 or by email at email@example.com.
Kiss n' Ride
Due to our size and the number of car riders at our school we will continue to use our number system for Kiss n' Ride dismissal. Please complete this form with your carload (such as household, carpool, or private daycare), and be sure to list all students with teachers.
