Changes In School - Home Communications

FCPS has a new Keep In Touch (KIT) system. It uses our student information system data to send out phone calls and email messages. In the event of an emergency (early closing, tornado warnings, etc.), FCPS will send out both a phone call and email messages to all households who have listed this information on their child’s Emergency Care Card. GBW will use this same system to send emails to share important information and encourage parental involvement. To insure KIT reaches your family, double check all phone numbers and email addresses on your child’s Emergency Care Form. More information

This one-time Parent View registration gives you:

If you prefer to receive school communications electronically, please be sure to Include email addresses on your child’s Emergency Care Form. Register for a Parent View Account (one time only - good as long as your child remains a FCPS student). Register or update your email address with the GBW PTA for information about PTA events and Volunteer efforts.

Parents without internet access will still receive all notices in their child’s Thursday folder and may call the FCPS hot line, 800-839-FCPS (3277), to receive emergency announcements  in English, Korean, and Spanish.
