Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology
An admissions representative shared information regarding TJHSST and the admissions process. The presentation can be found here. Applications will be available beginning on Monday, September 22 at 4pm. Eighth-grade students may apply online, or pick up paper applications in the main office. The deadline for applications is Friday, October 17 at 4pm.
Fairfax County Youth Survey
The Fairfax Youth Survey will be given to 8th grade students during English Class on Friday, November 14. This survey examines behaviors, experiences, and other factors that influence the health and well-being of our youth in Fairfax County. This survey will be anonymous and parents may choose their student to opt-out. All 8th grade students were given a letter/opt-out form during Falcon Time this week to bring home. Awards and Recognitions
Franklin Middle School is the proud recipient of the 2013 Board of Education Distinguished Achievement Award.
FMS Custodial Staff was recently honored with the distinction of Custodial Staff of the Year, 2012-13, and a Certificate of Recognition for outstanding building and grounds maintenance, 2012-13.
