The 2008 Virginia School Census will begin
on March 1, 2008 and end on July 15, 2008.

This census, which occurs every three years and is mandated by the commonwealth of Virginia, determines the fair distribution of state sales tax revenues throughout the state. The census counts every child through age nineteen whether or not the child attends public or private school or is home-schooled. For information about the census, the ways to respond, and the importance of your response, go to www.fcps.edu/news/census.htm.

Principal's Letter: Submission of Student Work If Using Microsoft Office 2007

Kiss and Ride Alert!
Students’ safety is most important!

All students who are driven to/from school should be dropped off at the Kiss and Ride lot only! Cars should not drive through the bus loop, which is the road directly in front of the school. Please do not drop-off students in the main parking lot and do not have them cross the bus loop road.  Be aware that buses drive through during the morning and at afternoon dismissal and after-school dismissal.

Kiss and Ride is one way. Cars should pull-up to the sidewalk to meet students. Please do not direct your students to meet you in the parking lot or to cross the parking lot to meet you on Lees Corner Road. Again, students’ safety is most important!

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Asma Junco, Assistant Principal, asma.junco@fcps.edu, or Officer Carl Jenkins, School Resource Officer, 703.904.5100.
