Kathie Pfeffer-Hahn was elected to serve as a Trustee for her first three-year term in 2017 and during her second term she began serving as Vice Chairperson.

Kathie has been an FCPS teacher for 20 years as an Advanced Academics Program teacher. She is currently teaching at Terraset Elementary and has taught at Forest Edge and Colvin Run Elementary Schools as well. She founded a podcast called Finances and… providing financial education and practical information to her listeners. Prior to joining FCPS, she worked for seven years as an International Sales Specialist at Newbridge Networks Inc., providing sales and financial research and analysis. She also worked for two years as an Area Associate at Apple Computer, Inc. Kathie earned a Master’s of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning with an emphasis in Financial Therapy at Kansas State University (KSU) as well as a Master’s of Education in Education Leadership at George Mason University. Prior to earning her master’s degrees, Kathie obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education from KSU.

In addition to serving on the Board for the last five years, Ms. Pfeffer-Hahn serves as the ERFC Ambassador at Terraset.
