Program Overview
Summer Learning provides PreK-12 with content acceleration, social and emotional learning experiences, credit recovery and credit acceleration opportunities.

Elementary Programs
Bridge to Kindergarten
This program prepares students for a successful transition to school.
Target Audience: Students with little or no formal pre-school education.
Program Length: Three weeks, four hours per day.
The program:
- Supports students with no or limited Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten experience.
- Develops executive functioning skills.
- Provides opportunities for social-emotional learning.
Students:
- Form relationships with school staff and classmates.
- Participate in experiences using kindergarten materials.
- Learn classroom and school routines.
- Work on social and emotional skills.
- Strengthen executive functioning skills.
Summer Olympians Aspire and Reach (SOAR)
This program prepares students for success in the next grade.
Target Audience: Current K-6 grade students who perform below grade level in Reading and Math.
Program Length: Three weeks, four hours per day.
The program
- Revisits essential Mathematics and Language Arts standards.
- Scaffolds content.
- Provides opportunities to communicate, collaborate and critically think with a small group of their peers.
- Boosts literacy and numeracy practices for all students, including English learners.
Students
- Work on social and emotional skills.
- Strengthen essential math and reading skills.
- Collaborate in small groups.
- Think critically.
- Set goals and reflect on their progress.
Middle School Program
IMAGINE
This program prepares students for success in the next grade.
Target Audience: Current 7th-8th grade students.
Program Length: Three weeks, four hours per day.
The program:
- Revisits essential Mathematics and Language Arts standards

High School Program
Credit Recovery Academy
This program closes achievement gaps.
Target Audience:
- Students who need to recover a standard high school course credit.
- Students who need to earn a high school verified test credit.
- High school English learners who need to boost literacy and numeracy practices.
Program Length: Three weeks, five hours per day
The program:
- Supports recovery of one high school course credit.
- Assists acquisition of a high school verified credit.
- Supports on-time graduation.
- Supports numeracy and literacy skill development for English learners.
Students

- Think critically and creatively.
- Engage in authentic tasks and project-based learning.
- Make presentations of learning.
