STEAM and STEM Labs provide hands-on learning opportunities for all students to deepen content understanding and foster Portait of a Graduate attributes.

Currently, there are over 65 elementary schools with STEAM-focused labs. Students enrolled in schools with a STEAM lab experience a range of learning opportunities including, but not limited to, robotics, engineering design challenges, computer science, exposure to current STEAM fields, and invention curriculum. Depending on the school, students rotate through the STEAM lab on a weekly or biweekly basis. The goal is to make STEAM disciplines and careers exciting and accessible to all students, as they attain the Portrait of a Graduate attributes that will foster lifelong learning and adaptive skills necessary to navigate the dynamic world around them.
