Title I Historical Data

View historical Title I data regarding Public School Choice (PSC) transfers and Supplemental Educational Services (SES) tutoring.

Under Virginia’s approved federal waiver from certain requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 2001, also known as No Child Left Behind (NCLB), sanctions connected with the “Adequate Yearly Progress” of schools receiving Title I funds are no longer required. This means new Public School Choice (PSC) transfers and Supplemental Educational Services (SES) tutoring will not be offered in FCPS beginning in 2012-13. Students who previously transferred to a new school through PSC may remain in their new school until they complete sixth grade, so long as they continue to live in the boundary area of their PSC school. Additional information on Virginia’s ESEA waiver can be found in a Virginia Department of Education June 29, 2012 press release.
