Woodson Environmental Club Pairs with Fairfax ReLeaf to Plant Native Trees
Members of Woodson High’s Environmental Club paired with Fairfax ReLeaf and several other Woodson organizations to plant 15 native trees around campus. With help from Woodson’s National Honor Society, Key Club, Leadership, and Spanish National Honor Society, the students tended the native trees planted near the orchestra door and cleaned up one of the library courtyards. Forty student volunteers, along with science department chair Lauren Kinne and band director Aaron Morgan were on hand for the planting. Contact news liaison Joan Brown at email@example.com.
