FCPS announces the appointment of a new principal.

Chad Lehman, who is currently serving as principal of Jackson Middle School, has been named the new principal of Centreville High School, effective January 14. 

Lehman began his FCPS career as a health and physical education teacher at Chantilly High School in 2001 and served until his appointment as an instructional specialist in 2007. In 2009, he was named assistant principal at South Lakes High School, where he lead the School Improvement Plan Committee, initiated and facilitated numerous staff development opportunities, and supervised the teacher mentor program.  In July 2014, he was named principal at Jackson Middle School, where he implemented multi-tiered systems of support in collaboration with the administration and instructional support staff to meet the needs of students. 

Lehman earned his bachelor of science degree from the Pennsylvania State University, his master of science degree at James Madison University, and his master of education from George Mason University.
