South Lakes HS Entrepreneurship Marketing Class Donates Profits to School Pantry
The South Lakes High Dual Enrollment-Entrepreneurship Marketing class hosted a successful Market Day in December, earning over $300 in profits. Because of the quarantine, the class was not able to have their annual party, so they donated those funds to the school’s Pantry to support the community. Marketing instructor Darlena Ricks purchased needed items on behalf of the class and delivered the donation. These future entrepreneurs—most of whom are seniors—have already learned a lesson in the power of giving back. Contact Darlena Ricks at email@example.com.
