South County HS Student Wins Art Contest

South County High student Benjamin “Pins” Leese was named winner of the art competition portion of the ninth annual art and writing contest sponsored by the Fairfax County Office of Human Rights and Equity Programs.  The competition, which is open to all FCPS public high school students, creates awareness among high school students of fair housing issues and laws and promotes the importance of providing equal housing opportunities for all. It provides a $300 prize for the winner in each category and invitation to attend the office’s annual Fair Housing Month luncheon. Contact news liaison Lisa Muir at
