Marshall Road ES Hosts Third Annual STEAM Night

students at exhibit tableMore than 300 Marshall Road Elementary students and their families enjoyed 29 exhibits, sponsored by the business community and teachers, at the school’s third annual STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) night. This PTA-sponsored event encourages students to engage in science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities.  New this year was a sensory-friendly experience.  One of the most popular activities was the free play area that was set up with donated cardboard boxes and tubes. The Madison Pyramid was represented by Madison High's robotics team which offered a demonstration of its FIRST competition robot. Students who completed at least six activities were entered into a drawing to win prizes like Intro to CS and Coding class from STEAM exCEL and books from AoPS Academy.  Contact Helga Tong at helga.tong@ngc.com
