The June 16, 2022, regular meeting opened up with a performance of the National Anthem by the Navy Elementary Strings under the direction of Robert Salzberg.

The School Board unanimously approved the following resolutions:

• Immigrant Heritage Month
• 2022 Laura Ashley Piper Scholarship Award
• School Board Character Award
• 2022 School Board Student Representative 

The School Board recognized Juneteenth and LGBTQIA+ Pride Month.

The School Board adopted Student Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R, Regulation 2601) document .

The School Board approved a new policy - Safety Procedures - Gun-Free Schools and School Board Buildings and property.

The next regular business meeting of the School Board will be on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
