Summer 2019
High School Students as of September 2018

Conversation is the cornerstone of society and education. Whether at home, in the workplace, or at school—it’s how we build knowledge and understanding. But does living in a world where we’re always communicating discourage us from really listening, or amplify all that’s being said? This Global Leadership Summit will examine The Power of Communication and everything impacting it today: from the media and social media to science, language, and art. In a time when everybody’s talking, let’s treat each conversation as an opportunity to learn. As students finish their themed tour through Finland and Estonia, they’ll arrive in Davos and will be met by world-renowned speakers and subject experts leading discussions and workshops aimed to inspire and educate. Grouped in international teams, students will use the design thinking process to innovate & propose solutions to a real-world global challenge.
