Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
What a fantastic first two days of this new school year!  Our theme this year is We Rise By Lifting Others!  Today, I myself was having a moment where the tasks that I needed to accomplish felt overwhelming.  I knew I needed a break and visiting the classrooms virtually  would be the answer to changing my mindset.  It certainly was FUN and UPLIFTING to hear our kids converse with one another and their teachers.  I am proud of how quickly both students and teachers are building trusting relationships with the heart at the center.  We can do this!  Rest easy because your child(ren) are in great hands with our staff.  I hope all of you continue to take care of yourself and that these times find you in good health.  Let me know what I can do for you!
Sincerely,
Holly DeVore, Principal

Belvedere ES
Dear Belvedere Families,
The school year is off to a great start! These first two days, we had high attendance and participation, with students learning to use technology tools in ways that help them communicate with one another and with the teachers. Our teachers are busy building classroom communities where students feel safe and supported.
Thank you, parents, for your support! We know this requires a lot of planning and follow-through on your part at home. We thank you for making sure your child logs on and participates in school.
We want to remind you that on Monday, September 14, all students will begin the day with Morning Meeting. The rest of the morning will include small group support for some students and specials choice sessions for all students who want to participate. Information about these sessions will be sent home on Friday with the class newsletter and next week’s schedule.
Kind Regards,
Cecilia Vanderhye, Principal and Kelly Cabezas, Assistant Principal

Weyanoke ES
Dear Weyanoke Families,
We have had a wonderful start to the 2020-2021 school year! The excitement students feel at being able to connect with each other and their teachers can be felt throughout our virtual environment. Please view our grade level pages to get information about the daily schedule, essential standards other important information at https://weyanokees.fcps.edu/academics/grade-level-pages. We look forward to seeing the students throughout the rest of the week and to continued success with our virtual start to the school year.
Sincerely,
Felicia Usher
