Can I just take this moment to shout out my mother, Mrs. Olabanji, who retires today from @fcpsnews  after nearly 30 years of service! Today is the last day of school and although she didn’t get to say a proper goodbye to her kids I know they will miss her! Congrats mama!

What's your Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grader doing this Summer?

The Middle School Value in Prevention (VIP) program will be going virtual for the summer! During these unprecedented times of social distancing and virtual learning, we want to offer your child a summer experience that is safe and full of fitness, friends, fun and enrichment. FCPS and Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (DNCS) have teamed up to offer a 5- week virtual program for rising 7th and 8th graders AND 9th graders in Fairfax County.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in virtual activities in the art, photography, STEM, 4-H, physical fitness, cooking, games, DnD, and more – things students can do at home. The programs are led by FCPS After-School Specialists, DNCS Teen/Community Center Staff, and FCPS teachers and staff.
