Patient and visitor information

https://www.inova.org/patient-and-visitor-information/covid-19-advisory

•         More than 24,815 tests completed to date across the Inova Health System as of May 21, 2020

•         6,705 positive results (ambulatory and hospitalized)

•         16,527 negative results

•         328 COVID-19+ currently hospitalized across five Inova hospitals

•         1,618 discharged patients to date

Inova reports it is safe to visit an Inova hospital, emergency room, or care site.  Inova is concerned that the public is delaying needed medical care – in some cases emergency care – out of fear of exposure to COVID-19.  Inova has taken precautions to ensure that care sites are safe for all patients, including a screening and masking protocol for all patients and visitors, increased cleaning, and separation of suspected COVID-19 patients in emergency rooms.

Interagency Alternative Schools’ VIRTUAL Graduation Ceremony

July 3rd at 1:00 p.m. - Channel 25

Dear Graduates, GED Recipients, Parents and Guardians,

Congratulations to the Graduates and Class of 2020!

This year our graduation celebrations will include both a Photo Op and a Virtual Graduation ceremony. While planning is still taking place for these events, we wanted to share with you the change of date and allow you to purchase your cap and gowns.

Virtual Graduation will include our seniors submitting a photo, bio, and 15 second video of themselves that will be aired on Channel 25 on July 3rd. This will all be done on a platform called Marching Order. Seniors will receive an email directly from this company no later than June 1st. Once the student receives this email they will have the ability to upload all their information, post their photo and videos.

We are also planning a photo op time at each site when students can take a graduate photo in front of their school, pick up their caps and gowns, and receive their diplomas. This event is still being planned and will need to follow social distancing guidelines and safety protocols, but we are anticipating this event will occur after the original graduation date of June 2nd but well before the broadcast of the virtual graduation on Channel 25. More details to follow.
