DCC Virtual Transition Ceremony - Save the Date!

Dear Students and Parents:

Thank you for your patience as we have worked with FCPS leadership to finalize our annual DCC Transition Ceremony plan.  All DCC students and families are invited to “save the date” and join our wonderful staff and our 41 transitioning seniors for our first-ever DCC Virtual Transition Ceremony on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  It takes many, many people to guide our dynamic and talented students through the entirety of their FCPS education and we invite you to come celebrate this crowning achievement with our DCC community.  Additional details to follow soon!

Brookfield ES

Dear Brookfield Parents of Students in Grades K-2,

Your child's teacher mentioned that your student might benefit from a laptop at home to access distance learning. If you would like to borrow a computer until school starts next year, please do the following.

  1. There are two times you can pick up the laptop at Brookfield ES. Please pick the time that is better for you.
    1. Tuesday, May 26: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    2. Wednesday, May 27: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  2. The pickup process will take up to 30 minutes.
  3. When you arrive at Brookfield, stay in your car. Someone will come out to help you.
  4. Students must come with an adult to sign forms.

The student can borrow this laptop for the rest of this school year until we return to school. If you get home and have a problem with the computer, please email your teacher or call the school as soon as possible.

If you end up moving over the summer, the laptop needs to be returned to Brookfield before you go.

If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
