Below are a number of videos that illustrate the broad spectrum of activities taking place in the Middle School Afterschool Program.  With an average of 25 activities occurring at each of our 27 middle schools, this is just a taste of the inspiring programs MSAS has to offer.

Here is a look at Stone Middle School’s Prowlin’ Panthers, an Afterschool club that gives students a safe place to get help with academics and unwind with friends.

 

At Glasgow MS, students learn about nutrition through a partnership between area chefs, FCPS Food and Nutrition Services, and FCPS After-School Programs in this afterschool club called Teen Chefs on the Move.

 

Jumpstart is a transition summer camp to help rising middle school students acclimate to their school before the academic year begins.  The MSAS Program helped launch this program several years ago in FCPS middle schools countywide.
